Each of our dogs is microchipped then tested for luxating patellas, heart murmurs, genetic eye abnormalities and will be registered with OFA, cardiac OFA and eyes through CERF. Once testing is complete at one year of age all results are forwarded to the CHIC registry.

While we are aware that having our dogs tested does not guarantee that they will not have problems in the future or do not carry the genes to produce many of the health issues associated with a toy breed...

We will never knowingly breed a dog with a genetic health issue in its lines and will remove any dog from the breeding program if we find that they carry the genetics to produce puppies with health issues!!!

All of our dogs that are bred have see our vet on a regular basis... are given heartworm & parasite preventive medications monthly and are vaccinated on a regular basis.

We take extra precautions when breeding our merles and will only sell pups from merle litters with limited registration with a spay/neuter deposit!!! The only pups that will leave here with full registration will go to show and/or breeding homes with experience breeding merles.
